I don't really care if you agree or not. Just saying what I think.

Response to Danny
Obama and the Oil Spill...

Just so you know, Danny - Bobby Jindal has been asking for permits to build or get the Army Corps of Engineers to build more barriers off the coast of Louisiana. The Federal Government holds jurisdiction over these areas so Jindal needs federal permission to act.

"Every day we're not given approval on this emergency permit to create more of these sand booms is another day when that choice is made for us, as more and more miles of our shore are hit by oil." - Bobby Jindal

He has been forced to act outside the law in order to preserve his state because OBAMA and his administration will not act.

Now I understand the scope of this kind of project - talking 6-9 months, but with no "real" end in sight to the spillage, it's at least worth a try and if enacted almost a month ago as proposed, some of the oil could have been stopped from reaching the shores.

So yeah... If you want to put it in perspective, it's like Bush not sendin FEMA into Katrina a month later. I for one do not hold Obama Harmless.

Other Senseless Ramblings

If Obama was a constitutional scholar (lecturer) at UofC then why does he have a hard time with the following items:

  • Trying to offer Joe Sestak a federal position violates 18 USC 210 ("Offer to procure appointive public office"), 18 USC 211 ("Acceptance of solicitation to obtain appointive public office"), and 18 USC 595 ("Interference by administrative employees by Federal, State or Territorial Governments")
  • Arizona immigration laws which simply call for state enforcement of existing federal with anti-profiling additions. His threat of lawsuit shows his complete lack of understanding of the 10th Amendment.
  • While stating that he does not endorse boycotts of states, he also states that he doesn't not endorse boycotts of states - a statement that shows his complete lack of understanding of Interstate Commerce.
Just asking and adding to his list of FAIL.
