State of the Union

...or campaign speech. I didn't hear much about the actual state of the union. Except that we need more infrastructure despite the fact that we already gave up a trillion dollars for that a couple years ago. Oh, and Bullet trains.


My favorite, though is where he said that we needed to freeze spending and start investing. Wow. First of all, we freeze spending right after I rack up a few trillion in debt and then we continue spending but we will now call it investing.

Then he got hawkish on the war... I swear this wasn't a state of the union but a "please re-elect me... see, I can be a conservative" speech. I'm not buying it.
