Dear Solar Flare,
Shut up. No one in America hates Hispanics or Latinos. What we have a problem with is ILLEGAL immigrants. I am sure that your intentions are good. But for the sake of helping you out, I have decided to guide you through this problem of ILLEGAL immigration.
1. Let's define illegal. Illegal is an adjective, which as we know describes a noun. Illegal is defined by Random House dictionary as the following:
| 1. | forbidden by law or statute. |
| 2. | contrary to or forbidden by official rules, regulations, etc.
|
Illegal seems to mean against the law or unlawful. We can take the work Immigrant (which is a noun) and modify it with the adjective. The adjective will describe the noun. An Illegal Immigrant is an Immigrant who is "forbidden by law or statute" or "contrary to or forbidden my official rules."
2. Let's talk about immigration law. There is a lot to it, so I will just give you this link.
http://topics.law.cornell.edu/wex/Immigration It really explains a lot. The short of it is that immigration is something you have to do by legal means. Not just anyone comes into the country. It would stand to reason that anyone who just walks across the border and attempts to live here without going through LEGAL channels is doing so ILLEGALLY.
3. Are there other laws that these ILLEGAL immigrants break by merely existing here? Sure. If they want to work or drive a car, they must have identification that defines them as a US Citizen. Since none of these ILLEGAL Immigrants are US Citizens, they must have false documentation.
So please, Mrs. O'Brien, stop the elicitation of hatred. It's not helping you. Kind of like when you tried to show how racist we were with your "Black in America" piece during the election. If you want to help, do a piece called "Smart in America" where you highlight all the stupid things Libs are saying right now. Until then, shut up and seriously, back off on the makeup; it makes you look a little trashy.
Sincerely,
Spencer
